SolidPay Inc., a large and successful online financial institution has announced the appointment of Steven P Raposo as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Raposo has been an active supporter and architect of SolidPay since one year after its inception. As CTO, he will be responsible for setting strategic direction for SolidPay products and initiatives, including addressing such key issues as standards, security model, fraud protection, infrastructure, interactivity, competitive positioning, creative initiatives and industry relations.

Steven Raposo brings over 11 years of technology industry and start-up management experience to SolidPay. Before accepting the CTO role with SolidPay, he served as Systems Analyst, Architect and Project Manager at Pay Systems Inc., a company revolving around online payment processing and fraud protection. Mr. Raposo left the company when he helped found 19th Floor Inc., a hosting and development firm that began to turn substantial profits after its first year of operation.

With a stable background in securities, fraud protection and online banking, Steven Raposo was approached in early stages of SolidPay's development to participate in the architectural design of its main application. After exceeding expectations, SolidPay's CEO took the opportunity to propose the position of Chief Technology Officer to Mr. Raposo, who accepted.
